You could actually call this Anti-Aging Porridge – it’s packed full of all the nutrients and antioxidants you need to maintain and repair your cells. And they come wrapped in such a delicious package: chocolate, quinoa, almonds, berries…
While it tastes best fresh and piping hot, this recipe also saves for 2-3 days in the fridge. Just be sure to keep it covered, and add a bit more unsweetened almond milk when you reheat it.
Recipe: Chocolate Quinoa Porridge with Almonds & Blueberries

This creamy, chocolate-y breakfast bowl is the perfect way to start the morning: nourishing, filling, and full of so many yummy, energy-boosting ingredients.

1Rinse the quinoa in a fine mesh strainer for 2 minutes.
2Add rinsed, drained quinoa to a medium saucepan over medium heat, and stir frequently until the water dries up and the quinoa is lightly toasted.
3Add almond milk and coconut milk and stir.
4Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 20-25 minutes, uncovered, stirring occasionally.
5Cook until most of the liquid is absorbed and quinoa is tender and creamy.
6Remove from heat and stir in protein shake powder, cacao powder, vanilla, and sea salt; stir well to combine.
7Top with almond slices and blueberries, stir again, and divide into 4 bowls.
8Pour a bit of almond milk over each bowl, then top with chopped dark chocolate.
9Leftovers will keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 days, covered.
