Nervous System Reset

Which foundational health habits should you address before trying another supplement?

Today I’m with nutritional therapist and self-described “Healing Cave Lady” Mary Darnall to explore the health crisis that transformed her into a determined researcher and practitioner. We discuss why true healing often begins with simple foundations like calming your nervous system, chewing your food, hydrating with minerals, improving lymphatic flow, and reducing toxic exposures. You’ll learn why symptoms are important messages from your body and how returning to the basics can help you build greater resilience at any age.

What you’ll learn:

(05:45) Mary’s experience fighting for her son’s health transformed her into a passionate health advocate.

(11:26) A stool analysis uncovered a serious bacterial imbalance that had previously been overlooked.

(12:43) Hear which nutrition, gut-support, and detoxification strategies Mary used as her son began making dramatic progress.

(14:54) Mary believes sustainable healing requires mastering foundational practices instead of chasing quick fixes.

(16:33) Women may benefit from improving their health and reducing harmful exposures before trying to conceive.

(23:35) Stress, rushed eating, and inadequate chewing may interfere with digestion and nutrient absorption.

(27:03) Mary describes mast cell activation and its possible connection to toxins, histamine symptoms, and recurring viral symptoms.

(39:41) Learn practical ways to support hydration, mineral intake, lymphatic movement, circulation, and detoxification each day.

On YouTube, there was one video on healing autism. One. And my doctors were like, oh, no, your son’s just never going to talk. He’s just going to need, like, an iPad to, like, express himself. He knew, like, 10 words, and he went from 10 words to thousands of words in six months. That was when I realized, wow, this medical system doesn’t work. It’s broken. There is no technology, there’s no pill, there’s no magic, anything. We had to go back to the basics of what health is to heal the body.

00:27
Speaker 2
If you are struggling to get pregnant, the answer isn’t ivf. The answer is figuring out why you’re not able to get pregnant.

00:34
Speaker 1
I tell people, you can eat the healthiest foods in the world, but if you’re not calm, if you’re not in your parasympathetic nervous system and you’re not chewing to a mush, you have to be in rest and digest. That’s the nervous system that allows our body to say, it’s safe to eat. Your cells are mutating to be able to survive the toxins. Your body’s encapsulating it to keep it away from everything else. And it becomes a tumor or you’re having some kind of disease.

00:57
Speaker 3
Even when you’re doing all the right things, your strength training, staying active, prioritizing protein, keeping the muscle you built over a lifetime gets harder with age. Now, our parents were told to accept that it’s just getting older. I don’t buy that, and that’s why I use Timeline, powered by Magpure. Here’s the real story. Muscle isn’t just about strength or looking good. Muscle runs your metabolism, protects your balance, preserves your independence, and determines how powerfully you age. And what most people don’t realize is that muscle loss isn’t only about hormones or workouts. It’s about cellular energy. As we age our mitochondria, those energy engines inside our muscle cells become less efficient. Now, when your muscles can’t produce energy, well, it’s harder to maintain strength, function, and resilience. That’s where mitopure comes in.

01:49
Speaker 3
It’s the only clinically studied form of urolithin A, a postbiotic shown in human clinical trials to support muscle strength and function by helping renew mitochondrial health at the cellular level. I love this because it works with your training, not instead of it. Now, strength training is the signal. Protein is the building block, and mitopure supports the cellular energy that allows your muscles to actually respond and adapt. Mitopure gummies make it simple. Two a day, sugar free, vegan, non gmo, and independently certified for quality. And let’s not forget absolutely Delicious. So if staying strong is part of your longevity strategy, and I sure hope it is, visit timeline.com JJvirgin and get 20% off your order. Hey, JJ here. And if you’re over 30, there is something happening right now inside your body that most people have never heard of.

02:42
Speaker 2
It’s called senescent cells.

02:45
Speaker 3
These are old cells that stop doing their job, but they do not go away. They hang around, they take up space,.

02:52
Speaker 2
They drain your resources.

02:55
Speaker 3
And as they build up, you start to feel it. Less energy, slower recovery, more stiffness. Just not feeling like yourself. Now, for a long time, we thought this was just aging, but thankfully, now we know better. Scientists discovered that certain plant compounds called senolytics can help your body clear these cells. That is a huge breakthrough because this is not about covering up aging. This is about addressing one of the root causes. And that’s why I’ve been using Qualia Senolytic for years. It combines nine of the most researched senolytic ingredients in one formula designed to support your body’s natural ability to clear.

03:38
Speaker 2
Out these zombie cells.

03:40
Speaker 3
And here’s what makes it so easy. You only take it two days a month.

03:45
Speaker 1
That’s it.

03:46
Speaker 3
No daily routine, no complexity. Just two days a month to support how you age. And again, I’ve been using it for years. And it’s one of those things that.

03:56
Speaker 2
Once you understand it, you will never go without it.

03:59

05:44
Speaker 1
Thank you so much for having me.

05:45
Speaker 2
I’m excited to get into your story because as I was kind of checking you out and looking at everything, I went, oh, we have a similar, but different story, Mary. But I think it really speaks to don’t mess with a mom’s kid. And I know that’s what got you into health. So I’d love to start there with your warrior mom story.

06:07
Speaker 1
My first child, and I was not a crunchy mom. I was raised on a mom that was a couponer. Right. So all we ate was processed foods and just not healthy. And I’m having my first child. And the one thing that I researched, I was really happy that I researched was like, vaccines and interventions. I was just like, I knew. I was like, we’re not doing those. Like, there’s. I just, I don’t see the upside of doing that. But I did.

06:34
Speaker 2
And this was years ago. You were way ahead of your time.

06:36
Speaker 1
18 Plus years ago.

06:38
Speaker 2
Although I kind of. I came to that conclusion after the first round. I was like, and we’re done with that.

06:42
Speaker 1
Yeah. You know, so I did a little research and I was like, people research their toaster ovens, their cars, and they will go to extremes, but they will put their child on any altar and just let people say, okay, you’re the boss, do whatever you want. And I’ve just always been one of those people that’s like, I question everything. I research everything. It’s just in my nature. Yeah. I was being told I needed to be induced because I was past due. And I was scared. I was first time mom. They’re like, he’s almost 10 pounds. We gotta induce. You ended up in the C section. I actually, I couldn’t nurse after I had him because my stomach flipped from having all my insides taken out.

07:18
Speaker 1
And I was in such excruciating pain every single time I ate that they were like, this is gonna kind of happen with your body. If you can’t eat, your body is going to, like, try to make milk for the baby. And you might have issues yourself, just like recovering and everything. So we did formula. Then we moved into a moldy home that we didn’t know was moldy. And you know, stack the deck, stacking the deck. And you know, I ended up with a child that had pandas. We didn’t know it was pandas. He had, of course, yeast overgrowth. Cause he was living in a moldy home and he didn’t sleep for a whole entire year. He just screamed at night, you know, and the doctors are like, well, he has autism.

07:56
Speaker 1
And I was like, he actually went from a perfectly healthy ish child until he got RSV when he was one.

08:03
Speaker 2
Say what RSV is.

08:04
Speaker 1
It’s a respiratory virus. It’s a respiratory infection. But he got strep after that and the strep just kind of stayed in the body. It started colonizing in the gut. Of course we realize this later, but,.

08:15
Speaker 2
Well, Panspandas wasn’t like that known back then either. So, you know, in your, like, it’s. I think it’s just really come to the forefront in the last five years.

08:24
Speaker 1
It’s become more popular. The funny thing is when I kept fighting because the doctor, I actually had a Fairly famous doctor, Dr. Paul Thomas, who wrote the Vaccine Friendly Plan. He was the one who told me, do not get that Hep B vaccine for your child. I was like, don’t worry, I’m not doing any of them. He’s like, love you. Like, his son had a huge vaccine injury and that’s what made him become an advocate of at least informed consent,.

08:47
Speaker 3
Like all these things. Shouldn’t you be allowed to look at.

08:49
Speaker 2
All the information and make the best decision? Why is this a controversy?

08:53
Speaker 1
I asked for the insert on the vitamin K and they were like, oh, here’s the flyer. I go, I want what’s in the box. I want to see. And they’re like, no one’s ever asked for that before. And this is just 18 years ago. And I was like, I want to know what you’re going to put in my kid. And they were like, it took them like an hour for them to provide it. And I looked at it and I was like, no. And then they’re like, we won’t do the.

09:14
Speaker 2
Oh, the circumcision.

09:15
Speaker 1
Circumcision. And I was just like, well, maybe I won’t do a circumcision, I don’t know. But like, the funny thing is we were in the hospital for a week because of all my complications. And the vitamin K is only low for the first three days. It goes to 100% by the time the baby’s about three days old.

09:30
Speaker 2
What else besides vitamin K is in that shot? Is there something else?

09:34
Speaker 1
Oh, the list was huge.

09:35
Speaker 2
And why wouldn’t they just give you a vitamin K drop if you really needed one?

09:39
Speaker 1
That’s what I asked for. But at the same time, I was.

09:41
Speaker 2
Like, and why do you really need it?

09:42
Speaker 1
We’re having this conversation and we’re at day four, I’m still in the hospital,.

09:46
Speaker 2
So we don’t need it.

09:47
Speaker 1
The funniest thing is my pediatrician goes, well, I don’t feel comfortable performing the circumcision if I’m going to do it. You need that vitamin K. Why not.

09:56
Speaker 2
Just wait over three days?

09:57
Speaker 1
So we’re already past three days at.

09:59
Speaker 2
This point, so it’s not an issue.

10:01
Speaker 1
And I said, I go, look. And this was not anything I was ever trained on. So. And it was a God moment, but I was like, look, if were to give him the vitamin K now and say he’s at 100% and then we inject him with vitamin K, it helps the blood coagulate. Right. Couldn’t he end up getting a stroke or something? And then the doctor goes, let me call you back. And then he calls back an hour, oh, we’re fine. It’s amazing how because of protocol, they don’t. They throw the brains out the window. They don’t use common sense anymore. This is what we do. This is how we do it.

10:32
Speaker 2
Well, and in defense, as I work with so many doctors, they’re trapped in that. It is really awful.

10:39
Speaker 1
Yeah.

10:39
Speaker 2
You know, so many of them that are in the system are trapped. And this is what you do. And God help you if you step outside of that and start to tell why you’re not going to. So just like, you got the heat, they got it 10x well, and the.

10:52
Speaker 1
Funny thing was, it was pretty quick once I mentioned that once you bring up something that actually makes sense. And like, I didn’t. My husband was like, where did that even come from? I don’t know. I’ve never researched this. I’ve never researched it. Anyway, move forward. I have a son who’s not sleeping, he’s sick. He actually has pandas. We didn’t know that. But I was at a birthday party and he was out of his mind and, like, just rolling in the ground, scratching his body, just going nuts. And I called my pediatrician, who was Dr. Thomas back then, and I said, I, I don’t know what to do. And he was just like. I go, what do I do? Take him to the ER and they’ll poke him to death and say everything’s normal.

11:26
Speaker 1
And he was just like, did we ever do that stool analysis I. I gave you to sent you home with it. I was like, oh, the one that you told me, don’t worry about it. We’re already putting him on probiotics. I go, I did send that in, like. And he goes, I was sitting in my garage one day. I felt like the Lord was like, just do that test. And he goes, oh, great. I’m gonna call the lab and see if it’s done. And he called, and he goes, oh, they’ll have the results ready for me tomorrow. I’m driving. I just remember driving, and he gives me a call, and he’s just like, your son has so much strep in his body, he literally could drop dead. Wow. This is a test that they told me was like, don’t even worry about doing it.

12:00
Speaker 1
We had done so much testing, and at that point, like, I had already quit jobs, and, like, we’re living off one small income, and it was expensive, and it was out of pocket. I was. I felt like I was supposed to do it. I did it. And he was just like, he literally could die. Like, he has so much stress, the toxins could take him down. And so he went on antibiotics for a month. And I saw the biggest difference that I’d ever seen in my life was him. I mean, I was like, is he turning into a normal child? Oh, my gosh. Like, all this weird stimming is going away, all this stuff. And I mentioned to him, I said, do we need to put him on antifungal? Because, you know, these are strong antibiotics.

12:37
Speaker 1
And he goes, no, we’ll treat that if we need to. So except.

12:40
Speaker 2
And were you in the moldy house at the time?

12:42
Speaker 1
I was.

12:42
Speaker 2
Oh, boy.

12:43
Speaker 1
And after the antibiotics were done, he went double insane. Like, not the mold from the home, plus, you know, wiping out all of his bacteria. He went straight back. So I started getting on the research, but Mom. Mom had to become her own doctor for her child. So I found all these natural antifungals. I found all of these good strains of bacteria, and we’re giving them fermented stuff, and things started healing. And then went really hard into detox, you know, infrared sauna, glutathione eating gaps diet, Gut and psychology syndrome diet, because it was on YouTube. There was one video on healing autism one, and it was Dr. Natasha Campbell McBride and she was like, look, this is what my son used to be, and this is how he is now. And my doctors were like, oh, no, your son’s just never gonna talk.

13:29
Speaker 1
He’s just gonna need, like, an iPad to, like, express himself. He knew, like, 10 words, and he went from 10 words to thousands of words in six months of just healing. And that was when I realized, wow, this medical system doesn’t work. It’s broken.

13:43
Speaker 2
It’s a very bizarre. It works really well. Like, with my son’s experience, you know, being run down by a car and having 13 fractures and a torn aorta and multiple brain bleeds. That’s what it works well for.

13:55
Speaker 1
Emergency medicine.

13:56
Speaker 2
Break a leg.

13:57
Speaker 1
Yep.

13:58
Speaker 2
That’s great. But once he got through the initial and now he’s in the hospital, and there was no. And they legitimately, they’re like, you know, we don’t know.

14:06
Speaker 1
There you go. Figure it out.

14:07
Speaker 2
You know, now they were left with just trying to get his blood pressure normalized, and they couldn’t do the things to bring him back. And what I get frustrated with is, number one, I think we’re in an era now, especially with women’s health, where the gaslighting is stopping because there’s too much information out there. So that’s not working anymore. And, I mean, the best thing is to listen to people. Like, parents know. You know, they know what’s going on, and women know what’s going on with their bodies is crazy. It’s like. But also everything now in the longevity space, it’s like, oh, diet and exercise. I’m like, yeah, we’ve been talking about this forever. Like, I’ve been in this for 40 years, and all of a sudden, it’s like a new thing. It’s.

14:48
Speaker 2
Why is there an argument about starting to do some of the remedies that have been literally around for thousands of years?

14:54
Speaker 1
The basics. And, you know, it’s funny, because I call myself the healing cave lady, and people always ask, I saw that.

14:59
Speaker 2
Why? What is that?

15:00
Speaker 1
You know, because for my son, to heal him, we had to go back to, like, old school, you know, making bone broth, you know, And I just think of an old woman in. In a. In a cave with a cauldron of, like, bone broth. And it’s like, we’re not just using part of the animal. We’re using the whole animal to sustain us, and that’s what’s healing. We’re fermenting things. I was juicing for him. Like, everything had to be organic, and it wasn’t like, hey, with all of these years of. Of learning and technology, there is no technology. There’s no pill. There’s no magic, anything. We had to go back to the basics of what health is, to heal the body. And so many people are like, I need. I want a quick fix. It’s never going to be quick.

15:40
Speaker 3
You have to biohack this one.

15:42
Speaker 1
You have to master the basics and get back to the old school nourishing traditions. Sally Fallon, like, should be.

15:49
Speaker 2
Everyone should have that book.

15:50
Speaker 1
I give it to every single new mom. I give them that one. And the nourishing book, the Mothers and Baby one.

15:55
Speaker 2
Now, the reality is a mom needs this years before she’s going to get pregnant.

16:00
Speaker 1
Years before. They need to be. They need to be preventative. You know, you can’t be on the defense after you have a child. And then they’re like, here. And then someone’s scaring the crap out of you and everything is fear. After you have that child, everything is fear. Oh, you don’t want them to die of all these things. So we got to do this heel prick. And, oh, when you’re pregnant, we want to do an amnio because we want to see if there’s any. Oh, there’s genetic mutations, there’s this, there’s that. Everything is fear based. And. And I always say fear will lead you into the worst decisions that you’ve ever made in your life. And a lot of them you can’t just turn around and take back.

16:33
Speaker 2
Yeah.

16:33
Speaker 1
You have to have a sound mind and you have to. You have to search and research. And if you are serious about, like, all these women are so serious about getting pregnant and they’re having hard times getting pregnant, but they have no idea about the. Once I get pregnant or what should I do for my body before I get pregnant? It’s all of just like, I just want to get pregnant.

16:52
Speaker 2
It’s really interesting to me that we’re missing the. The point right now with the infertility crisis. It’s like, if you are struggling to get pregnant, the answer isn’t ivf. The answer is figuring out why you’re not able to get pregnant. Yeah, that’s always the issue with these things. It’s like, you know, I’ve got a buddy. Actually, the person who’s going to come next on this podcast is helping me with my osteoarthritis. The issue isn’t to dull the pain. It’s to regenerate the joint. It’s like, what can you do with the message you’re being sent, it’s not just to mask it.

17:27
Speaker 1
Well, and what leads right into that, too? With my first child. So like I said, I was. I was not a healthy person. You know, I was fit looking, but I Standard American diet, all the toxins. I was actually like an alcoholic at a young age. And, you know, and it was never in drugs. But I’m full of chemicals and toxins.

17:44
Speaker 2
Everyone’s full of chemicals and toxins unless they fix this.

17:47
Speaker 1
The part of the reason my son was on the spectrum wasn’t just the pandas. He was loaded with heavy metals. His mercury, his arsenic. He had levels that were through the roof. And I talked to his pediatrician. I said how he’s not had one vaccination and he goes. Birthing is a cleansing mechanism for the body. The more kids you have, the healthier you are. It’s because you drain them into the child. And a lot of women will have miscarriage after miscarriage. And it’s because the fetus cannot handle the toxicity that’s being passed to them.

18:18
Speaker 2
Well, and then you breastfeed. You didn’t breastfeed, but when you breastfeed, you do it too.

18:21
Speaker 1
Yeah.

18:21
Speaker 3
Isn’t it?

18:22
Speaker 2
That seems like a very bad way that we’ve been designed in the grand scheme of things, but it is. I’ve got a girlfriend, Dr. Ann Shippy, whose whole platform now is what do you need to do so that you would be ready to get pregnant? And you were telling me before we started that you had another baby at 42 or 44.

18:40
Speaker 3
Which.

18:41
Speaker 1
41.

18:41
Speaker 2
41. Yeah.

18:42
Speaker 1
I was almost 42.

18:43
Speaker 2
A surpriser.

18:44
Speaker 1
Surpriser.

18:45
Speaker 2
A little gift. And whenever I hear. I just was at a dinner with a girlfriend who had two surprise babies, and we’re all teasing her because we’re like, after the first, you didn’t figure out this. How this happens, you know?

18:56
Speaker 3
But the reality is those surprises are.

18:58
Speaker 2
Few and far between nowadays.

19:00
Speaker 1
They really are.

19:01
Speaker 2
It’s a sign that you’re super duper healthy, especially in your early 40s.

19:05
Speaker 1
Yeah. And the funny thing was, is I was living in mold in Oregon, and I was extremely sick. I had Lyme disease. I had mold. I thought I was dying. We found out I had. I mean, a quarter, an eighth of our house was just rotted, filled with black mold. They never wrapped any of the windows. And we’re in Oregon, where you get rain every single day, you know, and it was coming in and so, like, I literally stuck my finger through the wall, came out with a Black finger drywall was completely, I mean so much mold. And then it wasn’t remediated properly cuz we didn’t know better. I just remember one day God was like, sell this house and get out of here. Like we had remediated everything, you know. But like I was not getting better.

19:43
Speaker 1
My son even though he was getting better than where he was at, he just could have been, you know, even healthier. And we moved out of that house and I was just like, I feel like I even need to just move out of Oregon. Like there’s so much mold here, it’s in the air, the trees never dry. I moved to Arizona and I had chronic shingles. I was getting shingles three to four times a year. Which people are like, that doesn’t happen with someone in their 30s. And I was just like, it does to me. Cause I had mast cell activation syndrome. And all the herpes viruses go crazy when mast cell is amped up. And I was getting rashes every time I go for a jog covered in hives. Like my life was just a mess.

20:19
Speaker 1
Air, hunger, just like panic attacks, anxiety through the roof, every, anything could just push me over the edge at any given moment. And I moved to Arizona where it’s dry and I made sure the house was mold free within two years. Like I would get chronic anglia edema. My lips would swell up so big that like all of the skin would peel off of them and they would just be bloody and they’d have to heal. It was the most pain I’d ever been in my life. I hadn’t had any of those things happen. Once I moved to Arizona, I think I got one rash and you know, some hives, but like none of the big stuff. No more shingles, no more Angliadema. And it was just like I needed to be somewhere dry and hot to heal. Just my body.

20:56
Speaker 1
I was like, I can walk outside and just sweat. Like I don’t even have to try. And then boom, I’m pregnant. And I was almost like, no fair, I’m finally healthy. I’ve, I’ve fought so hard to be healthy and now like I’m going to lose sleep and I’m just like, I can’t just enjoy it. But like, I mean he’s been like a huge blessing.

21:13
Speaker 2
Like, but it’s proof that you were healthy.

21:15
Speaker 1
Yeah. Yeah, right? Finally. Yeah.

21:17
Speaker 2
So I don’t know what you were doing before, but I know this then became what you moved into was full on health. A nutritional therapist. What’s your area that you focus on the most.

21:28
Speaker 1
Now I took clients in person. So it all started back when my son was getting better. And I was referring people to all of these great doctors and naturopaths that I had found and they were doing bioenergetic testing and doing some more cutting edge stuff to figure out what the root cause of these issues were. I started helping people and directing people. And then the people that I was sending to them to weren’t doing a great job, they were getting lazy and they were like not telling people what their issues were. They were just telling them what to do. And I said, I’m an educator, I want to know why I’m doing something. I’m going to be way more passionate about taking a pill or doing something if I know why.

22:06
Speaker 1
And people started complaining and I was like, I’m not even getting referral fees for this. Like I’m doing everything for free. And referring people and they’re like, maybe you should do it. And then I just felt like maybe I should. So I got a nutritional therapy license or certificate, bought a machine and just started taking clients. And then it became like full time and then it became crazy. And then I had wait lists and I had celebrities flying in to see me and all these people. And I was working with people that were the rejects of the medical system. And this One person spent $30,000 at the Mayo Clinic to be put on a experimental medication and be told, well, we’re going to put you on something to lower your blood pressure.

22:43
Speaker 1
Blood pressure is already low, but this is the only thing we know to try. For all she had PCOS, she couldn’t get pregnant. She was 50 pounds over the weight. And they put her on a brat diet. They’re like, just eat bread and rice and wait.

22:55
Speaker 2
I don’t even know what a brack diet is.

22:56
Speaker 1
It’s like bread, rice, applesauce, like it’s like everything. Like, no, they were more worried about spices and like anything that would when she’s insulin resistant.

23:06
Speaker 2
Wow.

23:06
Speaker 1
Mayo Clinic.

23:07
Speaker 2
Wow.

23:08
Speaker 1
I mean this is 10 years ago,.

23:09
Speaker 2
But this is so. It’s so common, you know that. And again, it’s like the traditional healthcare system is based is a disease care system. It’s a different system. And so many of these things are lifestyle problems and they’re not gonna get fixed by that. And then you’re gonna get on a drug that’s gonna cause more problems. So it just doesn’t make any sense. And so you did your own research, then you became a nutritional therapist. Now you’re seeing people all over the place.

23:35
Speaker 1
These people were just, they were all rejects of the medical system. And when I was testing them, I noticed they all had the same issues. Dehydration, severely mineral deficient. They couldn’t digest anything because they’re always in fight or flight. We needed to take the nervous system down, we needed to use enzymes as a clutch until they realized they had to be calm before they eat, they had to salivate, they had to chew their food.

23:56
Speaker 3
Explain that.

23:56
Speaker 2
Cause I think most people still don’t quite realize that one. The fact that if you are coming in stress pounding down food, what really happens?

24:04
Speaker 1
Yeah, so basically we have, it’s so brilliant on our tongue. It’s like we have these little receptors, but they’re all around the tongue and they tell the brain to produce enzymes that are going to break that food down. So if you’re not chewing your food to an absolute mush, it’s never going to hit the sensor on the tongue that tells the brain because it has to be broken down for, oh, that’s a fat, oh that’s a protein, oh that’s a carbohydrate. So we can break down all these little things. So I tell people you can eat the healthiest foods in the world, but if you’re not calm, if you’re not in your parasympathetic nervous system and you’re not chewing to a mush, you have to be in rest and digest.

24:38
Speaker 1
That’s the nervous system that allows our body to say it’s safe to eat and digest first. Then you have to chew it to the mush so the brain knows what enzymes to create and then your body can utilize it. But people are like, I’ve got my macros here, everything’s perfect. I going to chug it down and I’m going to drink a bunch of water afterwards and I’m going on my day or I’m going to eat in the car. Or I’m like, you know, and it’s just like. And then they’re like, gosh, why do my joints hurt? Why am I so bloated? It makes no sense. Every. All of the things I do make sense. Why does it not make sense?

25:07
Speaker 2
You just gave me a great, like a great idea and I was thinking about it because, you know, everyone talks about their morning routine, which I think, personally, I think most people’s morning routines they show online are absolutely BS and I don’t believe them for a second. So those of you who feel shame about your morning routine, cause you watch some influencer doing all this stuff in the morning. I wager bets they’re not doing any of it. You know, I’m always, like, being honest, going, I’m in bed, I’m waiting for my husband to bring me coffee, my dog’s looking at my face.

25:32
Speaker 3
There you go.

25:33
Speaker 2
Great morning. But it strikes me that, you know,.

25:36
Speaker 3
While you look at things in the.

25:37
Speaker 2
Morning routine and go, what are the big rocks? Go see the sun being a big rock.

25:42
Speaker 3
But we talk so much now about,.

25:44
Speaker 2
About walking or doing air squats after you eat to balance your blood sugar. When you just said that parasympathetic, I.

25:50
Speaker 3
Just went, oh, what we need to.

25:52
Speaker 2
Do is do breathwork right before we eat and walk or do air squats after. Like, we need the eating routine. Like, forget the, you know, hey, go see sunlight. But, like, we’ve missed this piece. It just isn’t talked about.

26:05
Speaker 1
It’s not talked about. And I had to do everything the hard way because I was trying to heal from all of this illness. Mold puts your body into fight or flight because your body’s trying to protect itself from the toxins. So it’s breathing shallow. You become trained in breathing shallow, so you’re always in fight or flight. So for me, my morning routine was a non negotiable. Like, I got up in the morning, I drank a huge glass of lemon water with salt, and I watched the sunrise and I had to do that. Like, my morning routines are like, it’s out of necessity, not of like, oh, this sounds like a good idea to be cute on Instagram. Right?

26:38
Speaker 1
Like, so, like, I drink my lemon water because we breathe out one to two quarts of water when we’re sleeping at night, you know, so if I put coffee in my body first thing and then. And then further push all that stuff out. I’m running on dehydration and I can’t risk it because toxins recirculating in my body. I can’t risk it. It’s going to shoot me into a big mast cell mess and explain to.

26:58
Speaker 2
Everybody what, what the mast cell activation, what MCAS is.

27:03
Speaker 1
Okay, so MCAs. I. I’m telling people this is going to be the new epidemic. I was just talking to Christine Chapner. Yes. Who is, you know, I love her.

27:10
Speaker 2
Yeah, she’s great.

27:12
Speaker 1
So mast cell is basically, we have these cells that push out things like histamine. Right. And people think about mast cell and they think about histamines when we think about allergies. Right. So, but what Happens is when your body has toxin recirculation, it triggers these mast cells, and it’s kind of a defense mechanism. And when you have so much toxicity, all of a sudden the mast cells are. They’re doing something protective by shooting at all these histamines, and it actually becomes this friendly fire. So you’re a mess. It’s like hives all the time when you. Rashes all the time, allergy symptoms all the time. That then actually will trigger herpes viruses. So people will get cold sores, they’ll get shingles, they’ll get chronic Epstein Barr activation.

27:59
Speaker 1
And they have no idea that it was the toxin recirculation that led to the MCAs, that led to the herpes reactivation. I learned it the hard way because I kept getting these shingles and I’m like, why? I figured all this. I’d never heard a doctor talk about this ever.

28:10
Speaker 2
So how would someone listening right now, who’s going, I’ve been having some of these symptoms be able to tell that it was MCAS or that they had. You know, one of the big challenges with toxins is their expensive testing. Yeah, right. I always think if you’re not actively doing sauna and fiber and you’re so exposed toxins, we’re all toast. Yeah. But what are the things that if someone really wanted to know, how would they find out?

28:36
Speaker 1
So there is a simple test, I believe. Dr. Becky Campbell, she’s also another.

28:40
Speaker 2
Oh, yeah, I know she was.

28:41
Speaker 1
She’s a good friend of mine. There’s a test that I forget what it’s called because I’ve always done bioenergetic testing. And that would tell me bioenergetic testing.

28:48
Speaker 2
For someone who doesn’t know what you’re talking about is.

28:50
Speaker 1
So it is an energy test. You hold onto two copper probes and it runs frequencies through your body to see what resonates. So it can tell you basically what’s going on in the body in real time, quickly. And you can run a lot of tests at once.

29:02
Speaker 2
So I can see validated this. I look at this as like how I use bioimpedance to tell fat free mass and fat mass in the body. But have they done anything to validate bioenergetic testing against, say, traditional lab testing?

29:16
Speaker 1
I don’t know to what extent, because in the United States, you can’t use it to diagnose and treat. Right. But I can run the Lyme disease program on myself. And a girlfriend of mine is here. Her name is Kristen Blake, and she had the most Expensive hygienics test done for lyme disease. And then she came in and we ran the line test on my machine and they were exactly the same.

29:38
Speaker 2
And see, this is important because the challenge with so many of these tests. Well, first of all, just a toxin test. To really do it correctly for heavy metals, you’ve got to provoke because otherwise your body stores these things to save you, to protect you. But a lot of these things just are really expensive.

29:55
Speaker 1
Really expensive. And the amount of information that you can get in. So I don’t know. Do you know who Dr. Connealy is?

30:00
Speaker 2
Sure. I’ve known Lieren for 30 years.

30:03
Speaker 1
She was just talking about on our channel now that everybody needs to get bioenergetic testing done to figure out root cause.

30:09
Speaker 2
No kidding.

30:10
Speaker 1
On her channel just recently, Len Keneally.

30:12
Speaker 2
Is like the goat.

30:14
Speaker 1
Yeah.

30:14
Speaker 2
And I think I met her like 30 years ago. I send everyone, anyone cancer, I send them to le. But she’s been like a high end near. This is exciting. So if someone. Someone wanted to get bioenergetic testing, though, where would they go?

30:30
Speaker 1
I mean, I always say talk to people because once you find somebody who’s good, everybody knows about them. Like, when people found me, word of mouth was. It was like wildfire. And the hardest part about bioenergetic testing is the practitioner. It’s not like, let’s run all these programs and we’ll know exactly what’s going on in your body. A lot of it is the practitioner and knowing what to look for and knowing what is really root cause and how to explore that. So you definitely want to find somebody who’s good at it. But it is becoming so popular that people know people and people figure it out.

31:01
Speaker 2
Is there a, like an association or anything?

31:04
Speaker 1
So the company that my machine is from is called quest 4 and it’s quest with no you. I feel like if someone went on the list and found somebody and they’re like, oh, I can get you in immediately, then they’re probably not good. So that’s why I always say, like, do word of mouth. Because, like, I was always booked out at least a month. And what I realized when I started testing people and realized so many of the root causes were the same, I was like, this person’s dehydrated. This person’s always in fight or flight. This person is deficient in magnesium, B vitamins, digestive, like, all the things I ended up.

31:32
Speaker 2
That’s pretty much everybody. Everybody, 90% of people.

31:36
Speaker 1
I made a video and I would say, okay, your Appointment’s not for a month.

31:39
Speaker 2
Let’s do this.

31:40
Speaker 1
First, I want you to watch this video, and here’s your homework. And you’re going to work on all these things until you come and see me. Half their symptoms would be gone.

31:47
Speaker 2
This was the reason I wrote the Virgin diet is I was teaching how to use a food sensitivity test in doctor’s offices. We would have a three week wait before the test came back. And so they needed something to do. So I was like. I kept seeing the test coming back and it was the same food. So I thought, why don’t I just pull out the most common eggs and dairy? Gluten was a different test. So obviously it’s gluten, eggs and dairy, corn, soy, peanuts. When I first started doing it, I pulled gluten out, obviously, and then it was, you know, eggs, dairy, corn, soy, peanuts. It didn’t pull sugar and artificial sweeteners out right away. And then they all ate that. And I was like, okay, well, fructose is creating the problem too, because fructose can make your gut permeable.

32:24
Speaker 2
And obviously artificial sweeteners. I know there’s a huge camp out there thinking artificial sweeteners are great. I just don’t understand it. It is unbelievable to me. And it’s common sense. I mean, come on.

32:36
Speaker 1
One would think, right?

32:37
Speaker 2
I mean, come on. I just then pulled that out too. And again, it’s like it was actually a better test than the test because then you could go back and go one by one and see how you feel. I had one gal who came in and she was absolutely emaciated and a dancer and everyone thought she was anorexic and she was eating like crazy amounts of food. All this gluteny stuff.

33:02
Speaker 1
Yeah.

33:02
Speaker 2
And I go, have you ever thought that you could be celiac? Has anyone? She goes, well, I’m. She was like, I forget what. Like it’s Indian descent. And they said, indian descent’s not celiac. I’m like, let’s just pull out.

33:13
Speaker 1
Let’s try.

33:13
Speaker 3
Let’s just try.

33:14
Speaker 2
Boom. Changed everything. Month later, she’s great. She’s feeling great. She’s put weight back on. She’s like, stomach no longer in distress. And her doctor goes, well, what we.

33:23
Speaker 3
Should do is test to confirm that you’re celiac.

33:26
Speaker 2
So you need to eat gluten and.

33:28
Speaker 1
Then get the biopsy.

33:29
Speaker 2
And I go, who cares?

33:31
Speaker 3
Just don’t eat, like, what do we need to know?

33:33
Speaker 2
It makes you feel like crap. So it is interesting you said that, like, magnesium, every single Person take magnesium. And you know, I worry about dehydration, especially now with everyone needing to drink filtered water because water is disastrous. But then you’re filtering out everything. So now we need to make sure we also have electrolytes there because that’ll even further the whole magnesium issue. Those are all obvious, like great things. What’s the next tier that you would start to see? What are the other common ones besides those ones that I think could be great action items for anyone listening? Like, just do those things.

34:09
Speaker 1
Yeah. So then it was most common health issues, you know, so we had like the magnesium, we had the B vitamins, digestive enzymes, probiotics. Sometimes there was like amino acid deficiencies. And so it’s like, take one good protein shake, have one good, even if it’s a half a protein shake a day, because it is mostly because people were not chewing their food too much. They weren’t getting essential.

34:29
Speaker 2
I just give them straight. I created a, an amino acid product. I just gave it straight to them because then I know they got what they needed. And especially just listening to some new research coming out that women, when they are, you know, in Perry and beyond, start to oxidize more protein instead of fat. So you’ve got this anabolic resistance and you have that going on. I’m like, oh yeah, double whammy, you know?

34:53
Speaker 1
You know what’s so funny too? Like even I want to even go back to what you were talking about, the food sensitivities thing, because it was just like clicking. Those are the number one foods that they say to remove for autism.

35:02
Speaker 2
We know the root cause and autoimmune.

35:03
Speaker 1
Autoimmune and the root cause. And like every single client I had come in, all of those things were gone. And we put them on a paleo ish diet. You know, I was like, sweet potatoes are okay at first. Let’s remove all grains. Let’s just remove the offenders. 90% Of them felt so dang good.

35:17
Speaker 3
I know.

35:18
Speaker 1
Like, I don’t even want touch those foods ever.

35:20
Speaker 2
Right. That’s the biggest. So when I wrote the Virgin diet,.

35:23
Speaker 3
The thing was, okay, try take them all out.

35:25
Speaker 2
Let’s start to get some soothing things for your gut, like bone broth.

35:29
Speaker 3
Then we’re going to go back and try them one by one.

35:31
Speaker 2
They’re like, nope. Like I’d see someone, they go, I’ve been on this for seven years. I go, but it’s not a seven year plan, it’s a three week plan. And then we re challenge to see what you know, and they’re like, nope, can’t do it. I’m not going to do it.

35:43
Speaker 1
It’s like, why even risk it?

35:45
Speaker 2
But I think paleo. I had a great nutrition mentor early on in my life, and he said, the sicker you are, and it’s what you did with your kid and it’s obviously with what your. Your name is here. The sicker you are, the farther back in your ancestry you need to eat.

35:58
Speaker 1
Yeah.

35:59
Speaker 2
And we had. I don’t know if you know who Lauren Cordain is. He was the originator of all this paleo stuff way back in the day. And I literally sat in a room with 12 other people because the company I was working with paid him to come in and do a lecture for us. And I was like, mind blown.

36:15
Speaker 1
Yeah.

36:16
Speaker 2
And it just made so much sense because he’d. And he’d stumbled upon it. He was an exercise physiologist. His sister in law had an autoimmune disease. He was trying to figure out how to help her. And I think it was.

36:25
Speaker 3
He had.

36:25
Speaker 2
She had Ms. In any way, like put her on a paleo diet. Then he started to study what cereal grains do. And I mean, never mind that we have the gluten glyphosate issue because you can’t unpack. If it’s gluten or glyphosate, you can’t unpack that.

36:37
Speaker 3
But all of the rest of it,.

36:39
Speaker 2
I mean, it’s just. It’s just such an easy one.

36:41
Speaker 1
I had at least three clients that had ALS diagnosis, as in Parkinson’s diagnosis, is that it was celiac disease. And I said, but the first thing when they came to my office, I’m like, I don’t care what all of that is right now. Like, I don’t care about your diagnosis. I’m going to see what’s going on in your body and we’re going to go based on what your root causes are, not what the doctors have been telling you. You have. And I took every single one of them off of gluten, every single one of them off of dairy at first, and then we just went from there.

37:11
Speaker 1
But most of those people, when I tested them, gluten was like, I can run a food sensitivity test, but on the main scan, that’s called the causal chain scan, it will tell me if gluten is the number. Every single one of them. Gluten was the number one issue, but they also had glyphosate as a toxin that needed to be detoxed. But I was like, when that comes up on causal chain, I take people off gluten forever. It could have taken years for you to get here. You could be celiac. You might not be. And one of the gals was confirmed, and she went and did the test and had the biopsy and did all that. And they were like, oh, that’s so funny. We missed that. I’m like, yeah, you would have never got it. You were going to put her on. Oh, yeah.

37:49
Speaker 1
Could you imagine going to your family and telling them, I have Ms. And you do not have Ms. And you are 24 years old.

37:55
Speaker 2
Oh, my God.

37:56
Speaker 1
Because you’re eating gluten, you know, and.

37:58
Speaker 2
I don’t know why that’s not one of the first things that we would look at. Like, why wouldn’t that be a standard thing to test?

38:03
Speaker 1
Because people don’t believe that food actually is. It can be a medicine and it could be a drug. You have to think about it. Like food. Food can be healing, but food can also take you down.

38:12
Speaker 2
When my son was little, one of my older son, he was. I get a call from school and they’re like, you have to pick up your son.

38:18
Speaker 3
And I go, what’s going on?

38:19
Speaker 2
He goes, he’s climbing the walls. So I go to school, and they’d given him a two pound bag of M and Ms. For selling all the gift wrapping for some, like, contests, and they let him have it. I’m like, what is red dye sugar? I’m like, I know what I’d feel like if I just ate a two pound bag of M&M’s. I’m like, did you see.

38:38
Speaker 1
Wait, is it two pounds, two pound?

38:40
Speaker 2
They gave him a two pound bag of M. He didn’t eat the whole thing, but he was in, like, eating the bag of M&M’s.

38:44
Speaker 1
Wow.

38:45
Speaker 2
Two pound bag of M&MS.

38:46
Speaker 1
That’s not the little.

38:47
Speaker 2
No, no, it’s not a snack pack. So, okay, let’s go back to what types of things cause especially, you know, you’ve talked about mold toxicity, which I think is so underrated. Yeah, it’s crazy.

38:58
Speaker 1
80% Of buildings have water damage. I mean, everybody. That. That also triggers all the MCAS symptoms. I always tell people, look up MCAS symptoms. Look up mold symptoms. If you were on that list, you should test your body or your home.

39:13
Speaker 2
Well, the challenge is, though, like, you know, I know for me, I travel 75% of the time. So, you know, there’s. There’s the other piece of it. Like, you walk and go mold why they don’t have air purifiers in every single hotel, or at least your option to add it in would is amazing.

39:30
Speaker 1
If a hotel had water, a room that had air filters and water filters in the room, I would be like, I’ll pay an extra $100 a night for that.

39:37
Speaker 2
Everyone in the know would. That’s why I don’t understand, like, it’s a business opportunity for.

39:41
Speaker 1
For real. So you were asking about most common health deficiencies and then most common health issues. That was the other thing that I would run my clients through. The first one was always dehydration was huge. People. Oh, yeah, I drink my water every day. No, you really don’t. Like, it’s like you’re really good at it for one or two days and then it just falls off the bandwagon. And then you’re just drinking coffee half the day and then sodas and things like that. So increasing high quality filtered water with minerals. And I was always very strong about the minerals because I. I really wanted it to be ultra filtered. And then lymphatic drainage issues was always literally right at the top.

40:21
Speaker 1
And a lot of it was because, you know, people would do some of the movements or they would be like, active some of the day, but they weren’t opening up the pathways, you know, have you heard of Dr. Perry’s Big Six, where you do the tapping, you do padding, and you’re basically opening up all of the places where all of the lymph meets together. So you’re rubbing right underneath your collarbone, your neck, armpits, breast area, armpits, and then your stomach and then your hip creases and then behind your knees. And you can literally pat to open those up one minute in the morning. And that’s part of my morning routine.

40:54
Speaker 2
That’s cool.

40:55
Speaker 1
So you just do a little quick pat down and then you can do some jumping jacks. And it’s basically just opening up everything so things can flow throughout the day. And if one of those areas is clogged, say you’re sitting all day, the hip creases are huge. Like, I always dumb things down to the point where I forget what the real names for things are. Because I don’t want to use, like, really big words all the time when I’m talking about things to confuse them, but I call them, like, ports. Think about having like these big balloons that you kind of like have to squeeze everything out of. And if you’re sitting like this all day long, everything’s getting cramped. So you really have to wake up those things.

41:26
Speaker 1
Especially if you have a job where you’re sitting the majority of the time, it’s really important to kind of like, wake up those big six areas and keep things flowing. So, like, I do that throughout the day, and then I’ll just jump on a rebounder or hop on a vibration plate just to, like, make sure things are flowing throughout the day.

41:40
Speaker 2
I feel like lymph is just starting to come into.

41:42
Speaker 1
Yeah.

41:43
Speaker 2
Why does this matter?

41:44
Speaker 1
Think of your body as like a big spirally tube, right? Like a twisty straw. And you have these places that get kinks. Nothing can flow through the body. And when things get clogged up, toxins are gonna start recirculating in that area. When toxins are against cells long enough, the cells have to mutate. And once a cell mutates, your body no longer recognizes that cell as your body, so it attacks it. So I always tell people, like, if you have Hashimoto’s, well, it’s root out of Hashimoto’s toxins on the thyroid, you know, and every single person I talk to that hashimoto’s, almost every single one of them, they felt like their voice wasn’t valid and they needed to be silenced. They always have a lump in their throat because they feel like they can’t speak up for themselves.

42:27
Speaker 1
That vibration is what clears the toxins out of the area. And when that becomes stagnant, the toxins will attach to the thyroid and the body’s attacking itself. So that could be disease. That could be cancer, you know, so how important is it to be disease free and cancer free? It’s pretty dang poor. I mean, you think even like, the underwire bras that people wear, you know, and people are like, oh, I have a big chest. I am a 32 quadruple D. You know, I have a big chest and I don’t wear wires, you know, And I wear organic cotton bras. Third, I have a third love bra on right now that.

43:00
Speaker 2
Oh, my buddy, Dr. Kellyanne just turned me on to third love.

43:04
Speaker 1
Yeah, I have the organic cotton.

43:05
Speaker 2
Okay. So we love those.

43:07
Speaker 1
Yes. And it fits a big chest. So if anybody wants to complain. And I don’t feel like they look saggy, but yeah, there’s no wires in it. And I always make sure that, like, I just don’t even wear the bra all day long. And I make sure that it’s not too tight. Like, I think I bumped up to a 34 just so that it wasn’t so tight. And I’m always doing that, you know, shaking and moving throughout the day and making sure that things are draining. Because breast cancer is. Because you’ve got that very sensitive lymph area there. And people are putting aluminum deodorant on, and then they’re putting wire bras on and tight. Tight. I don’t wear a sports bra ever. I have a wool.

43:40
Speaker 1
They call it a sports bra, but, like, I’m flopping out of the thing if I’m doing, you know, and you should be like, you have to allow those movements because anything that becomes stagnant, those toxins get trapped. And then it’s. Your cells are mutating to be able to survive the toxins. And then it’s either becoming a tumor, your body’s encapsulating it to keep it away from everything else, and it becomes a tumor, or you’re having some kind of disease. So it’s. Lymph is the. One of the most important things to make sure it’s flowing and obviously hydration, because you need to be able to push the lymph. And then that’s where you’re like, sauna, heat, PEMF mats. All of those things increase circulation. Thin. Those lymphatic fluids are thick and slow moving. You get in a sauna.

44:24
Speaker 1
It speeds everything up, but warms it up. Those. Those infrared PEMF mats are amazing.

44:29
Speaker 2
Me and my dogs are obsessed with the PEMF mat. It’s so funny because I will get on there and do a meditation while I’m on the PEM mat with my red light face mask. I was like, I become the person I make fun of.

44:39
Speaker 1
Yeah.

44:40
Speaker 2
Like, how did that happen? But there’s so much good science on those ones. And I take off my mask and the dogs are all, like, on it.

44:47
Speaker 1
Yeah.

44:47
Speaker 2
And they stay on it. They love it.

44:50
Speaker 1
We have three infrared PEMF maps. And when anybody gets sick, they’re all out. They’re all plugged in. And my dog is the first one to run up on that mat. The dogs know. It’s like, I want to be grounded and have the gentle heat and the red light. Like, yeah, like, sign me up. They go. They go right for it. And I. People are like, do you really do all that stuff? I’m like, you should walk in my house when we’re not feeling good. Like, people are racing and they’re fighting. I had to get one of those huge ones so that two kids could be one. But it is amazing how much they helped it. But. And people are just under moved and under circulated.

45:22
Speaker 2
Yes.

45:23
Speaker 1
So to be able to have tools.

45:24
Speaker 2
Can I tell you my biggest frustration right now in the exercise science world is that only 30 of people are meeting the lame guidelines and we are all talking about high cortisol and over training. And I’m like, wait a minute. We are worried about the maybe 1% that would over train and is doing step chronically. That’s driving cortisol when we have 70% who are not and probably up to 30%, another 10. So the majority of people don’t even come close. And if they did the exercise, it would help them have better cortisol balance. And we’re scaring them.

46:00
Speaker 1
Oh, don’t do the hiit workouts. Well, if you’re not moving the rest of the week, that hiit workout’s not gonna heal you.

46:06
Speaker 2
It’s like, stop it. But I think that the couple key things you brought up that are so important is the calming down before you eat and doing some things to help get your lymph flowing. The important thing there too, because I just. Someone just sent me a video of this gal showing how she gets her arms shredded by jumping up and down on a. On a rebounder doing this. And I’m like, okay. They’re like, please respond. I’m like, okay. I will respond in a kind way because I’m glad people are doing things. But a rebounder is not. It’s. It’s a lymphatic massager. It’s like, don’t think of it. We, when were in college, we used to use it to eat cookies and jump on the rebounder. The dumbest thing ever. I’m like, this doesn’t. This does not do this. It’s for lynx.

46:44
Speaker 1
The funny thing is for people that have really high toxicity, working out on a rebounder is life changing because they have so much toxicity that is making their body full of water and full of fat. Because your body will store fat to preserve the organs. So if you’ve really high toxicity. I remember Suzanne Summers talking about this because when she had that black mold, she gained all this weight. All of us gained weight when we have black mold is trying to pull the fat and hold the toxins there. So, like, when I worked out on a rebounder, I do a 30 minute workout on a rebounder. I’d lose a half a pound a day and it would like, stay off. And I’m like, how is this even possible? So it’s really great for people that have high toxicity or have really bad methylation issues.

47:29
Speaker 2
To build muscle, you bring up something important that I, I used to teach this course for practitioners called Overcoming weight loss resistance. And all of the things that could get in the way of you losing weight. Toxins are a huge one that no one looks at because it’s true. Your body stores toxins and fat and then it actually lowers your thyroid, cools your body temperature and holds on. So it will be really. So if you are struggling to lose fat, you know, look at insulin resistance, that’s another one. But that can be one of those areas that can be problematic for sure. Let’s do a little speed round if you’re up for it.

48:03
Speaker 1
Love it.

48:03
Speaker 2
Are you ready?

48:25
Speaker 2
Well, if they’re in Europe too, like, yeah, you know, are they getting Einkorn? We actually found someone that did Einkorn. Fermented sourdough. I was like buying it from Etsy, having it shipped.

48:36
Speaker 1
Everybody I know right now is milling their own einkorn and making their own bread.

48:40
Speaker 2
And just so people are going, einkorn. It’s the what our wheat should be that you can get in Europe. That that’s why we go to Europe and go, I can eat everything and feel great. It’s cause of that one food.

48:51
Speaker 1
Everyone should add cilantro.

Brain works, your energy, how you feel day to day. And a big part of that comes down to your cells. Your cells rely on something called phospholipids. These are the building blocks of your cell membranes and they’re essential for how your brain functions, how your cells communicate and how your body operates overall. As estrogen declines your body’s natural production of key phospholipids can shift which can impact things like mental clarity and overall resilience. That’s why I started focusing on supporting this more foundational layer. One of the things I added into my routine is Body Bio PC.

52:44
Speaker 3
It’s a phospholipid complex that helps support cell membrane health, brain function and liver function, basically helping your body get building blocks it needs to function well and what I like about this is that it’s not just about chasing symptoms it’s about supporting how your body works at a deeper level. So you’re supporting things like clearer thinking, better focus and feeling more like yourself again. And of course Body Bio is known for really high quality practitioner trusted formulations. So if you’re in perimenopause or menopause and feel like something is still missing this is definitely worth looking into. You can head to bodybio.com and use code JJVIRGIN20 for a discount.
