Recipe: Candy Cane Hot Cocoa

Now this is a happy holiday recipe – delicious hot cocoa full of vanilla mint flavor. It’s just like a candy cane, minus all the dairy and sugar impact!

  • Yields: 2 Servings

Ingredients

2 scoops JJ Virgin Chocolate or Vanilla All-In-One Protein Shake powder* (your choice of protein type)

14 oz. unsweetened vanilla coconut milk

2 tsp real vanilla extract

1/4 tsp pure peppermint oil

Whipped coconut cream to serve (optional, recipe below)

Directions

1Blend the protein powder, coconut milk, vanilla extract, and peppermint oil in a blender until the ingredients are well-mixed.

2Transfer to a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat until steamy, stirring occasionally.

3Divide into 2 mugs and top with a dollop of whipped coconut cream. Enjoy!
