Detox & Burn Fat With a Sunlighten® Sauna

by JJ Virgin on December 15, 2014

A lot of people think of detoxifying or cleanses as something you do once or twice a year. But in fact, your cells require constant detox on a daily basis, and a sauna is a great option. It’s also helpful for fat loss, making it a win-win in my book.

I’ve long been a fan of infrared saunas. Recently, I took that love to the next level and invested in one for my home. I didn’t make that decision lightly! But after careful research, I opted for a Sunlighten® sauna, the only brand clinically shown to burn more fat and more effectively detoxify.

Why Infrared?

If you’ve ever experienced a traditional sauna, you know it can get uncomfortably hot. I prefer an infrared heat sauna, which feels more like lying in the sun on a warm day. That’s because, while traditional saunas operate in excess of 200°F, infrared heat can provide those same benefits at a far more comfortable 100-130°F.

Of course, if you’ve read my books or spent much time on my website, you know I care about scientific facts. I wanted to see some research before I made my choice. Well, Sunlighten® delivered it. Based on 56 clinical studies, their unique patented technology provides the optimal wavelengths of infrared.

Infrared saunas also have an impressive amount of supporting research for their health benefits. Studies show far-infrared saunas can help normalize blood pressure, relieve chronic pain, help heal chronic fatigue syndrome, and even promote weight loss.1 Researchers also concluded that saunas can play a significant role in detox programs.2

Detox Benefits

The detoxification benefits from saunas come from helping your body sweat out toxic substances, including heavy metals. As long as you maintain proper hydration, the more you safely sweat, the more toxins you’ll expel from your body.

Sunlighten® saunas are seven times more effective in helping your body detoxify than a traditional sauna. That means a deep, detoxifying sweat that penetrates and releases toxins at the cellular level.

Fat Loss with Infrared Saunas

Infrared saunas can also help burn fat. In a 2009 study, Sunlighten® infrared saunas helped lower weight and waist circumference in just three months. Participants in that study felt infrared sauna use was similar to moderate exercise but “much more relaxing.”

Another study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association found infrared saunas could help you burn hundreds of calories in just one session.3

Why Quality Counts

You can find low-end saunas all over the Internet that cost less because they only generate a small amount of infrared. I bought a Sunlighten® sauna because it’s been proven 99% effective, and quality always matters when it comes to your health.

What impresses me most about Sunlighten® are the pre-set wellness programs. With one touch, I can select detoxification, cardio, relaxation, pain relief, weight loss, or anti-aging, and the heaters will emit the optimal blend of wavelengths based on clinical data. It’s truly customizable!

Now, you know I’m big on eating clean and exercising. I don’t want you to think you can eat high-sugar impact foods, blow off your workout, and then hit the sauna to magically sweat away those excess calories.

That said, when you want every tool in your arsenal to burn fat, effectively detoxify, and maintain optimal health, a sauna can provide just the boost you need. It’s also a wonderful way to relax and release stress. Check out Sunlighten® – you won’t be disappointed.
