Recipe: Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Tea

by JJ Virgin on January 18, 2019

Whether you’re trying to lose weight, improve your gut health, balance your blood sugar, or detoxify your system, this cleansing tea recipe is the ideal start!

Every ingredient in this tea is beneficial for your health, from anti-inflammatory cinnamon to apple cider vinegar, used for hundreds of years as a natural remedy for issues ranging from bacterial infections to acid reflux. (Find out more about the benefits of apple cider vinegar here.)

And of course, there’s green tea, another rockstar multitasker with a range of positive effects on your mood, fat-burning potential, brain health, and more.

Just be sure to choose decaf if you’re brewing it in the PM hours. The last thing you want is to undo all that healthy detoxification by interfering with your sleep!

My green tea of choice is always gold medal-winning Pique Tea Crystals. Their patented cold-brewing and crystallization process produces a superhero version of green tea.

Plus the cute little packets are the ultimate in convenience! They dissolve easily in cold or hot water, so you can take your tea on the go.

If you’re in the mood for something cozy, make a mug of this tea and drink it hot. Want a more refreshing version? Put the vinegar and Pique tea crystals in an infuser water bottle full of cold filtered water, then fill the infuser basket with the lemon, ginger, and cinnamon. Perfect!
