Not only does my team work hard every day to deliver valuable, helpful content, they also know how to make a mean protein shake! This recipe comes from one of our team members, and it’s got the same dreamy flavors as cookies and cream and a Mounds candy bar. (Of course, without all the sugars, artificial additives, and regret…)
If you aren’t already a protein shake fan, you will be. Protein shakes are the number one needle mover when it comes to quick weight loss, and I recommend them in both The Virgin Diet and the Sugar Impact Diet. They’re an easy way to get great nutrition, and they keep you from skipping meals or fueling up with sugar and empty carbs that send you into a cycle of mood swings and energy crashes.

Chocolate Coconut Heaven Shake
September 12, 2016
This protein shake recipe is cookies and cream meets a Mounds candy bar. It's got no added sugar, dreamy flavor, and enough fiber to stay full for hours. Add the health benefits of coconut and coconut oils, and it's a guaranteed winner!
Virgin Diet compliant: Cycles 1, 2, and 3
Sugar Impact Diet compliant: Cycles 1, 2, and 3
- Prep: 5 mins
- Yields: 1 serving
Directions
1Blend the ingredients together until smooth. (If you’re using Paleo shake mix, ramp up the blender speed slowly to keep it creamy.)
2Your shake can be thickened by adding more ice cubes or thinned by adding more cold water. Like a candy bar minus the guilt!
