Recipe: JJ’s Tequila Treat

It’s not a party without something delicious to drink! My Tequila Treat is full of refreshing, summery flavors: lime, pink grapefruit, cucumber, and fresh basil.

It’s the perfect compliment to the rest of our Mexican Fiesta menu: Roasted Jalapeño Guacamole with Toasted Pumpkin Seeds, Mexican Chicken Tortilla Soup, and Cilantro Turkey Burgers with Chipotle Ketchup.

Inviting kids or non-drinkers? Make a Virgin Treat by substituting more sparkling mineral water for the tequila.

And if you opt for the alcoholic version of this recipe, eat first and load up on B12! Alcohol can burn through your B12 reserves, leaving you with common hangover symptoms like fatigue, nausea, and headaches.
