This version is made healthier by a shot of protein and the use of unsweetened coconut ice cream. Both will help boost your fat-burning potential, while keeping the sugar impact low.
You can buy the ice cream or make your own – the recipe is below. And if you want your affogato after dinner, be sure to swap out the espresso for strong decaf coffee so you aren’t lying awake at 2 AM!
1Place two scoops of ice cream in a mug.
2In a small cup or bowl, whisk together the protein powder and coffee until smooth.
3Pour hot protein coffee over ice cream and enjoy!
