Recipe: Candy Cane Hot Cocoa

The holidays can be a challenge when you’re trying to eat healthy. So many traditions are centered around treats that might temporarily give you the warm fuzzies but can seriously endanger your health in the long run.

This recipe is a great way to satisfy two holiday cravings at once: the sweet peppermint flavor of candy canes and a cozy mug of hot cocoa. And you can do it without the dairy or sugar impact!

Take your pick of vanilla or chocolate protein powder in this recipe. Vanilla makes for an extra creamy drink, while chocolate tastes more like traditional hot cocoa. (Either way, it’s absolutely irresistible…)
