Recipe: Champagne Twist Cocktail

by JJ Virgin on December 20, 2016

Champagne tastes beautiful, but with around 12 grams of sugar per serving, it doesn’t do your blood glucose levels any favors. Dial back the sugar impact with this twist on a champagne cocktail, made with vodka and sparkling water (both with no sugar) and flavored with freshly squeezed citrus.

Quick tip: avoid a hangover by taking vitamin B12 before and after you drink alcohol. It helps support a healthy red blood cell count, which means you skip common hangover symptoms like headaches, nausea, dizziness, and fatigue.

The Champagne Twist Cocktail is the final recipe in our Holiday Party menu, joined by more tasty, healthy dishes perfect for your next shindig: Smoked Paprika and Cayenne Roasted Almonds; Virgin Stuffed Mushrooms; Roasted Artichoke Dip; and Herbed Salmon Cakes with Tartar Sauce.
