Recipe: Berry Cobbler Protein Shake

One of the beauties of smoothies is that they can satisfy a craving for your favorite dessert while also giving you a nutritious, filling meal. Win-win!

This one is inspired by fruity berry cobbler. I like mine with mixed frozen berries, but if you have a favorite, now’s the perfect time to let it fly solo. (Blackberries or raspberries are both lovely choices.)

Clean, lean protein powder with delicious vanilla flavor means this shake is really more like cobbler with a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream – minus all the dairy and sugar, of course!

Remember to buy organic berries – let’s not undo all the great work this protein shake is doing for your body and metabolism by adding a dose of toxins from pesticides. And if you’re a chocoholic, this is also delicious with chocolate protein.

I won’t shy away from saying that I think my own protein powder is best in this shake. My team and I worked so hard to get the right flavor, texture, and level of sweetness, while also ensuring my All-In-One Shakes contain the very best protein sources, fiber, and healthy fats.

We also left out all 7 of the foods most likely to cause intolerance and inflammation, including gluten, dairy, peanuts, eggs, soy and corn protein, and artificial sweeteners.

I also purposefully left another ingredient out: added sugar. There’s less than one gram of sugar per serving in both my Paleo-Inspired and Plant-Based shakes, and that comes from the fruit and vegetable blend.

The result? You feel full all morning with sustained energy. That’s because your system isn’t dealing with the blood sugar spikes and dips caused by a sugary breakfast.

So drink up! Have your cobbler for breakfast.
