This yummy, filling protein shake is autumn in a cup!
I love the natural sweetness of butternut squash here, especially paired with spicy cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. Squash is often overlooked as a smoothie ingredient, but butternut squash and pumpkin are both incredibly good for you, plus they taste amazing! (Can you tell I’m a fan?) You can usually find canned pureed organic butternut squash in your grocery store right next to the pumpkin.
This scrumptious smoothie also sneaks in a handful of baby kale for extra fiber and healthy vitamins. The goodness of immune-boosting coconut milk makes it even better, though you can substitute unsweetened almond, macadamia, or flax milk if you prefer it.
With an impressive 23 grams of protein, plus vitamins and minerals and heart-healthy fiber, this shake is a complete meal – full of delicious fall flavors and all the nutrition you need to stay energized and focused until lunchtime.
