It's summertime all year long with this shake recipe that combines two of my favorite fruits. Blueberries provide an added dose of brain-boosting omega-3s, while the protein and fiber in this shake can help you burn fat and build muscle for hours after you take your last sip.
If you aren’t already a protein shake fan, you will be! Protein shakes are the number one needle mover when it comes to quick weight loss, and I recommend them in both The Virgin Diet and the Sugar Impact Diet.
They’re also an easy way to get great nutrition, so hectic schedules or picky palates aren't a problem! No more skipping meals or fueling up with sugar and empty carbs that send you into a cycle of mood swings and energy crashes.
Peach-Berry Bliss Protein Shake is the first recipe in our Breakfast In Bed menu, to be joined by an Espresso-Almond Shake; Gluten-Free Pecan Pancakes with Strawberries; and Bacon and Mushroom Sweet Potato Hash.
Peach-Berry Bliss Shake
September 4, 2016
Peaches and blueberries come together in this tasty protein shake recipe. It's like summer in a glass, with the protein and fiber you need to feel great! The addition of half an avocado adds the healthy omega-3 fats you need to stay full and satisfied, plus boost your brain and heart health.
- Prep: 5 mins
- Yields: 1 serving
1Blend the ingredients together until smooth. (If you’re using Paleo shake mix, ramp up the blender speed slowly to keep it creamy.)
2Your shake can be thickened by adding ice cubes or thinned by adding more cold water. Pure fruity bliss!
