Recipe: Espresso-Almond Shake

by JJ Virgin on February 16, 2017

If you know me, you know almond butter and coffee are two of my favorite foods on the planet. So I couldn’t resist combining them into one healthy, irresistible protein shake!

This shake has all power-packed protein and filling, heart-healthy fiber you need to stay energized until lunchtime. (The added kick of caffeine doesn’t hurt…) As a bonus, this recipe tastes equally delicious with chocolate or vanilla protein shake powder.

This shake is also fructose-free, so it’s a great option if you’re in Cycle 2 of the Sugar Impact Diet or Breakthrough Carb Intolerance Online Program.

Espresso-Almond Shake is the next recipe on our Breakfast In Bed menu, joining the Peach-Berry Bliss Protein Shake; Gluten-Free Pecan Pancakes with Strawberries; and Bacon and Mushroom Sweet Potato Hash.
