They supply a rich variety of nutrients and antioxidants, including a good boost of protein. If you are looking to eat healthier, add this super veggie into your weekly rotation.
Cruciferous veggies are also high in sulfur, which makes Brussels sprouts great at naturally detoxifying your body. Sweet and savory roasted Brussels sprouts are paired with crispy bacon crumbles in this scrumptious dish. Loaded with protein, vitamins, and antioxidants – all you need is 10 minutes of prep time and a hot oven!

1Preheat oven to 400°F.
2Spread Brussels sprouts in a single layer in a large baking dish.
3Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then add garlic, onion, and chili flakes.
4Toss to combine, and sprinkle with bacon pieces.
5Roast in a hot oven until bacon is crispy and the Brussels sprouts are caramelized, about 45 minutes, stirring halfway through.
