12 Days of Shakes: Chai Protein Latte

This Paleo latte is full of exotic chai spices and topped with dreamy coconut milk foam. Goodbye Starbucks, hello metabolism-boosting protein!

Ingredients

2 scoops JJ Virgin Vanilla or Chai All-In-One Protein Shake powder* (your choice of protein type)

7 oz. unsweetened full-fat canned coconut milk (divided)

7 oz. brewed coffee

1 tsp real vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon plus more to serve

1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

dash ground cloves

Directions

1Blend the protein powder, 4 oz. of the coconut milk, coffee, vanilla extract, and spices in a blender until the ingredients are well-mixed.

2Transfer to a medium saucepan and cook over medium heat until steamy, stirring occasionally.

3While coffee heats, put remaining 3 oz. coconut milk in blender and blend until light and foamy.

4Divide hot coffee into 2 mugs and top each latte with half the coconut milk foam.

5Sprinkle with a dash of ground cinnamon and enjoy!
